For the first time, the Trail du Grand Ballon invites you to an exceptional winter edition! Starting from Jungholtz, you will set off on routes designed to reveal all the richness and diversity of the region's terrain. Here, winter changes the game. Cold, snow, rain, or wet ground: every weather condition brings its own share of challenges and transforms the course. An authentic, wild, and unpredictable trail, where you will need to rely as much on your legs as on your ability to adapt.

The Challenge
For those who want even more, the Trail du Grand Ballon can also be experienced over two days! Two challenges are on offer: The Hivernale 45 with 25 km on Saturday and 20 km on Sunday, and the Hivernale 60 with 25 km on Saturday before tackling 35 km on Sunday. Two starts, two routes, and above all, a night to recover before putting your shoes back on. In the middle of winter in the Vosges, the second day could well be the most interesting… 45 or 60 km: it's up to you to choose your challenge.
